Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk chaired a meeting to discuss the work of the Unified Register of Persons, including children, deported or forcibly displaced in connection with Russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine. This register is at the disposal of the National Information Office of the Ministry of Reintegration.

In particular, they discussed the need to connect the General Prosecutor’s Office, the National Police, and the National Service of Ukraine as users.

Participants emphasized that it takes time for the National Information Bureau to transmit information to these government agencies. At the same time, the rescue and return of the child depends on joint action. Therefore, this option is necessary for quick data exchange when searching for deported children.

Joining the Unified Register of Deported Persons will allow data to be verified and processed promptly and avoid unnecessary paperwork.

These agencies will use all the information available in the registry in their future work.  Authorized access will make it possible to track changes made to the registry.

Following the meeting, the Vice Prime Minister instructed the representatives of the mentioned government agencies to prepare appropriate letters to the Ministry of Reintegration requesting accession.
