Representatives of the Ministry of Reintegration, the Ministry of Social Policy, the Ministry of Veterans, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Pension Fund, regional military administrations, the Ukrainian Red Cross Society, and other agencies and organizations attended the event.

Among other things, the meeting discussed payments under the Shelter Program, which provides compensation for free temporary housing for internally displaced persons. It is paid in the amount of 450 UAH per month for the accommodation of an IDP in the warm season and 900 UAH in the cold season.

According to the head of the Ministry of Reintegration, the corresponding compensation for March and April of this year has already been paid in the total amount of over 360 million UAH. Nearly 200,000 homeowners have received payments for housing IDPs. In addition, funding for compensation for sheltering IDPs in May will begin next week.

The issue of payments to IDPs remains under the specific control of the Coordination Centre. This means a monthly state housing allowance of 3,000 UAH for people with disabilities and children and 2,000 UAH for other IDPs.

To date, payments to IDPs for July have been fully funded at over 6.3 billion UAH.
