Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk emphasized this at a meeting of the Coordination Center for Internally Displaced Persons. 

Representatives of the Ministry of Reintegration, the Ministry of Social Policy, the Ministry of Infrastructure, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Pension Fund, regional military administrations, and other agencies and organizations attended the event. 

The participants of the meeting discussed, various topics, including how social protection authorities can get to the State Register of Damaged and Destroyed Properties. This is essential to keep providing aid to individuals whose homes were destroyed or became unlivable due to conflict.

Following the talk, Iryna Vereshchuk told the ministries in charge to take swift action to address the problem of social protection authorities accessing the proper register. 

“Suspending payments of housing allowances to owners of destroyed and damaged housing is not acceptable. Currently, social protection departments do not have access to the Register, but this issue should be resolved soon. People deserve to keep receiving state support,” the official stressed.
