Representatives of the Ministry of Reintegration, the Embassy of Ukraine in Moldova, the Ministry of Infrastructure, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Energy, and others took part in the meeting.

The meeting reported on the status of implementation of the agreements reached after the meeting of the Co-Chairs of the Interstate Ukrainian-Moldovan Mixed Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation, which was held in Odesa on September 29.

Currently, the Moldovan side is negotiating a draft agreement on joint maintenance of power lines and a memorandum on the introduction of an early warning system for emergencies on the Ukrainian-Moldovan border.

The Moldovan side sent proposals for amendments to the draft agreement on checkpoints on the Ukrainian-Moldovan state border and simplified the passage of citizens.

We are also working with the Moldovan side to determine the joint status of the Yampil-Koseutz checkpoint and its location on the territory of Ukraine.

Preparations are underway to hold a meeting to discuss the development of legislation and joint research methods in the sanitary and phytosanitary area.

“We must accelerate all processes and intensify efforts to implement the agreements reached and establish effective cooperation with the Moldovan side,” the Vice Prime Minister concluded.
