Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk met with the Minister of Development and Technology of Poland Krzysztof Hetman in Warsaw. Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Poland Vasyl Zvarych also attended the meeting.
During the meeting, the parties discussed cooperation in the reconstruction of Ukraine. It is important to note that the Ministry of Development and Technology of Poland, in collaboration with the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAiH), has initiated a program to support Polish companies interested in participating in the reconstruction of Ukraine. To date, over 2,800 companies have applied to participate in this program.
The meeting emphasized the importance of regularly convening the Ukrainian-Polish Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation. Additionally, the participants discussed trade relations between Ukraine and Poland.
“I would like to note that the Republic of Poland is the main trade partner of Ukraine and is the first in bilateral trade of goods between Ukraine and European countries with a share of 23.1% of the total volume. I hope this dynamic will continue in 2024,” said Iryna Vereshchuk.
