The Urban Camp Lviv cultural and social center has opened a hub for teenagers and young people from the areas affected by the full-scale invasion. The Lviv City Council reported this on their website.

The educational hub consists of:

– Educational premises for lectures, workshops, and events;

– Living rooms that can accommodate up to 30 students enrolled in educational programs at the same time;

– Office space for the team to work;

– Restrooms and showers.

The hub plans to hold Street Culture camps, which are week-long free camps for young people aged 12 to 16 from frontline areas and internally displaced teenagers. During the camps, the kids will participate in parkour, breaking, hip-hop, graffiti, skateboarding, streetball, and other activities.

The Street Culture Leadership Academy has already been launched by the hub. The initiative aims to educate new leaders and build a community of street cultures across Ukraine. Graduates will receive certificates after completing the free training and will be able to join the Street Culture platform.

Street Culture and Urban Reform, together with the TVORY! network, are implementing the project with the support of the Lviv City Council and the international foundations Crown Agents (UK) and CORE Response (USA).
