526 Ukrainians were recognized as winners of Ukraine’s “Own Business” grant program. They will get 127 million for business expansion. The government portal reports.
The results of this year’s seventh wave of the “Own Business” grant program have identified 526 Ukrainian winners, who will receive ₴127 million for business expansion. The Government portal reports this information.
The winners are 50% women, 41% men, and 9% legal entities. A significant proportion of the winners (over 75%) have completed higher education. Most grant recipients are based in the Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kyiv, and Kyiv regions.
The winners of the seventh wave will work in the most popular areas, including:
– wholesale and retail trade, repair of motor vehicles;
– processing industry;
– temporary accommodation and catering.
Since the government program launched in July 2022, almost 16,000 entrepreneurs have become winners. The state has invested 3.8 billion UAH in their businesses.
Ukrainians can receive a microgrant ranging from 50,000 to 250,000 UAH under the “Grant for Your Own Business” program. The funds can be used to purchase or lease equipment, buy raw materials and supplies, or rent premises.
Both experienced entrepreneurs and individuals without relevant experience are eligible to apply. To receive funding, it is necessary to create 1-2 jobs, depending on the grant amount.
