The decision was made at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers regarding compensation for utilities consumed during the free stay of internally displaced persons in state, municipal, and private property.
The document outlines the allocation of more than UAH 63.7 million from the state budget reserve fund to the relevant institutions to cover utility costs for February 2024. The funds will be allocated as follows:
– The Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ministry of Agrarian Policy, Ministry of Energy, Ministry of Education and Science, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Industrial Policy, and Ministry of Social Policy received more than UAH 9.7 million to pay compensation to state-owned institutions under their management.
– More than UAH 52.8 million was set aside for municipal institutions, state educational institutions that were transferred for financing from local budgets, and jointly owned institutions of territorial communities of the region and district managed by regional and district councils.
The Ministry of Reintegration will give the above subsidy from the state budget to local budgets according to the approved distribution among regional budgets.
Furthermore, more than UAH 1.1 million has been allocated to regional military administrations to compensate private institutions (except private educational institutions).
The Ministry of Reintegration would like to thank the Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Finance for their help in implementing the state policy on support for internally displaced persons.
