In Kharkiv, Iryna Vereshchuk met to discuss providing humanitarian liquefied gas to vulnerable people in the frontline areas of Kharkiv, Sumy, and Donetsk

Iryna Vereshchuk, the Vice Prime Minister, visited the Kharkiv region for work.

Other attendees included Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Reintegration Oleksiy Bruslyk, Head of the Directorate for Coordination of Humanitarian Response of the Ministry of Reintegration Vadym Shvets, and representatives from the Ministry of Energy, the regional state administrations of Kharkiv, Donetsk, and Sumy, gas distribution network operators, and other stakeholders.

Iryna Vereshchuk, Vice Prime Minister, oversees the project. The Ministry of Energy is developing the relevant resolution with the Ministry of Reintegration and other interested ministries and agencies.

The Ministry of Energy representative told participants the pilot project is being approved by the central executive authorities and will then go to the Government.

The participants engaged in discussions about the project implementation algorithm, identified potential challenges, and explored the involvement of international partners in the project.
