As a result of the work of humanitarian corridors, today, on March 23, 2022, more than 4.5 thousand civilians were evacuated.

Donetsk region:

Almost 3 thousand of its inhabitants reached from Mariupol to Zaporizhzhia by their own vehicles. Buses and trucks with humanitarian aid, which arrived in Berdyansk yesterday, were blocked all day by the occupying forces at the entrance to the city.

During the day at the checkpoint in Vasylivka, the occupiers kept an additional convoy of buses to evacuate Mariupol residents and a fuel truck. The convoy will stay overnight in the city of Tokmak today and will continue its movement to Berdyansk tomorrow morning.

Tomorrow, our rescuers from the State Emergency Service and bus drivers, who were unjustifiably detained in Mangush yesterday, must be released.

Zaporizhzhia region:

Unfortunately, the occupiers also detained a convoy of buses for evacuation from the town of Pology to Zaporizhzhia today at a checkpoint in the town of Vasylivka. Now they have been missed, they have continued on the route, and tomorrow morning people will be taken out of Tokmak.

There 51 people were evacuated from the city of Huliaipole to Zaporizhzhia and humanitarian aid was brought to the city.

Kyiv region:

There were almost 769 residents evacuated from the villages of Velyka Dymerka and Bohdanivka to Brovary.

Today, it was not possible again to evacuate people from the city of Borodyanka to Bila Tserkva – due to the violation of the regime of ceasefire by the occupying forces.

150 people were evacuated from the village of Svitilnya to the town of Brovary.

Luhansk region:

From the cities of Rubizhne, Lysychansk, Severodonetsk, Kreminna and the village of Nyzhny – 672 people were evacuated to Bakhmut.

60 tons of canned food, cereals, flour, and other foodstuffs were delivered to these settlements through humanitarian corridors.

So, the evacuation is constantly ongoing. Every day, the Ukrainian authorities try to take the residents of the frontline and front regions to safe places along agreed humanitarian corridors. For those who stay, everything they need is delivered.

This day is not an exception. “We have lived with you another day and one day closer to Victory!” – summed up Iryna Vereshchuk.
