The Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine Iryna Vereshchuk addressed the residents of Mariupol, who have not yet been able to leave the city surrounded by the occupiers and are waiting for help.
The head of the Ministry of Reintegration assured the citizens: Ukraine is waiting for them and fighting for everyone.
She reminded that since March 5, attempts have been made to open humanitarian corridors from the city to Zaporizhzhia – along several routes. Unfortunately, the occupier always does everything to keep these corridors from working. Even the involvement of the most influential people on the planet cannot change the situation.
– We appealed to the Supreme Pontiff, U. S. President Joseph Biden, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, Chinese leader Xi Jinping… But Mariupol residents are still being bombed. I appeal to each of them: we are with you! Literally now 42 buses with evacuees go to Zaporizhzhia. And we will break through every day – until you all get a chance to leave the city and continue to live peacefully. We will do our best to make you feel comfortable and welcomed. Wait and do not lose faith, we love you! – called the Deputy Prime Minister to the citizens of Mariupol.
