The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine Iryna Vereshchuk spoke about the work of humanitarian corridors on April 4.
Today there will be a humanitarian corridor from Mariupol to Zaporizhzhia by private vehicles.
The Minister noted that 15 buses intended for evacuation of people have already left Zaporizhzhia for Mariupol.
Meanwhile, a delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross today plans to continue its journey to Mariupol from the city of Mangush with 7 buses.
The evacuation of people from the cities of Luhansk region – Severodonetsk, Popasna, Lysychansk, Rubizhne and the village of Nizhny – will also continue.
Instead, according to Iryna Vereshchuk, the occupiers in Luhansk oblast are constantly violating the regime of ceasefire and shelling humanitarian columns in the region. She noted the courage of police, military and evacuation column drivers who, despite the threat to their lives, under the leadership of the head of the Luhansk military – civil administration, are helping to evacuate the civilian population.
