10 billion UAH allocated for restoration and preparation of the energy sector for the heating season. The funds will be used to repair and protect energy facilities.

In addition, the United States is providing $897 million in aid for generators, gas turbine power plants and transformers. The European Energy Support Fund for Ukraine is also operational and has already disbursed EUR 166 million.  Prime Minister Denis Shmyhal announced this at the meeting of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities under the President of Ukraine.

The head of government noted that 11.7 billion cubic meters of gas (80% of the planned volumes) are stored in Ukrainian gas storage facilities, and we have 1.5 million tons of coal in warehouses out of the planned 1.8 million tons.

In particular, over the past six months the government has allocated another 92 billion UAH to local budgets. Additional financial aid in the amount of almost 24 billion UAH has been allocated for the regions where active hostilities are taking place, of which 10.6 billion UAH has already been disbursed. More than 20 billion UAH have already been allocated to the local level for rapid recovery.
