The Ministry of Reintegration has recently received appeals from regional military administrations about the risks of power cuts for retail chains that have resumed operations in the de-occupied territories. This includes grocery stores that provide food and necessities to the population.
We would like to inform you of the following to help prevent power outages.
It is forbidden to disconnect the consumer without the permission of the competent military administration, especially if the consumer provides work:
– Critical infrastructure facilities;
– Other facilities designated by the appropriate military administration, including those used to provide vital services to the population involved in the provision of food, medicine, consumer, and household goods.
This is stipulated in clause 8 of the Regulation on peculiarities of electricity supply to consumers and settlements between participants of the retail electricity market during the period of martial law in Ukraine, approved by order of the Ministry of Energy dated 13.04.2022 No. 148.
To ensure the continued operation of the food stores that have reopened in the de-occupied territories, the Ministry of Reintegration proposes that the regional military administrations draw up a list of such establishments.
