The focus was on the procedure for the return of Ukrainians who had served their sentences in TOT prisons and were deported to russia by the occupiers.

Such citizens try to leave russia through the territory of third countries.

The participants of the meeting agreed that the readmission procedure will be used to return Ukrainian citizens to their homeland.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been instructed to hold a series of meetings with law enforcement agencies of countries bordering russia to work out this mechanism.

In addition, the participants summarized almost a year of the pilot project on issuing an ID card for return to Ukraine.

The project will continue, and the relevant ministries have taken two weeks to work on the relevant amendments to the legislation.
