More than 84 million UAH in state aid has already been paid to those affected by flooding in Kherson and Mykolaiv regions

This was reported at a meeting chaired by Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk on cash payments to the population affected by the floods caused by the destruction of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant.

 

Representatives of the Ministry of Reintegration, Ministry of Agrarian Policy, Ministry of Social Policy, Mykolaiv and Kherson regional military administrations, Ukrposhta, and OCHA Ukraine participated in the event.

 

On September 14, residents of these regions received 84.4 million UAH.

 

Thus, state aid has already been paid to 15,879 Kherson region residents and 1,007 residents of Mykolaiv region. Payments are made to bank accounts or in cash via Ukrposhta. Special attention was paid to the resolution of the identified problems.

 

Special attention was given to the elaboration of the problems that were identified.

 

As a reminder, the residents of Mykolaiv and Kherson oblasts who suffered flooding due to the enemy’s explosion of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant may receive one-time financial assistance. It is a payment from the state of 5 thousand UAH. Applications will be accepted until October 31, 2023.
