This is about removing kids with their parents, individuals acting as parents, or other authorized representatives. Some towns in Donetsk, Kharkiv, and Zaporizhzhia regions are being evacuated due to security concerns.

524 children and their accompanying persons were forced to evacuate from 34 settlements in Donetsk Oblast to safe regions on three separate occasions. Relevant tasks have been realized since April of this year.

This year, two forced evacuations of children and their parents have already taken place in Kharkiv region. Thus, 79 kids were relocated from 17 communities in the Kupyansk region in April and May.

Furthermore, 194 kids were moved away from Vovchansk City and 9 nearby villages of the Vovchansk City territorial community in Chuhuiv district in July and August.

In August and September, 59 kids and their chaperones were moved from Stepnohirsk, a town near Vasyliv, and four settlements in Pologiv, located in the Zaporizhzhia area.

The regional military authorities made these decisions in cooperation with the military command in the area and the Coordination Headquarters. The goal was to enforce mandatory population evacuation measures under martial law to safeguard children.
