Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk chaired a meeting of the Coordination Center for Ensuring the Rights and Freedoms of Internally Displaced Persons.
Representatives from various organizations and agencies, including the Ministry of Reintegration, Ministry of Social Policy, Ministry of Infrastructure, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, National Social Service, Pension Fund, State Employment Service, Oshchadbank, regional military administrations, and others, attended the event.
The meeting participants discussed, the issue of payment of living allowances to IDPs. They also thought about giving more time for people to physically prove their identity to receive pension and social benefits at Oschadbank.
They talked about making changes to the resolution of the Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers regarding where IDPs can stay temporarily.
Additionally, the discussion focused on proposed amendments to the regulations governing the employment of internally displaced persons.
