Just under 5.8 billion UAH have been allocated for payments to IDPs in the first half of November. This refers to a monthly government payment for living costs. People with disabilities and children receive 3,000 UAH, while all other IDPs receive 2,000 UAH.
This issue was discussed at the meeting of the Coordination Center for Ensuring the Rights and Freedoms of Internally Displaced Persons, chaired by Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk.
Payment documents for IDP payments during the first period of this month will be sent to the State Treasury on November 15th, as informed by a Ministry of Social Policy representative. Afterward, the funds will be deposited into the bank accounts of the IDPs in a few days.
“Many internally displaced persons contact the hotlines of the Ministry of Reintegration with questions about the housing allowance payment. IDPs must receive their payments on time. It is often the only money they can count on,” noted Iryna Vereshchuk.
If you have any payment questions, call the Ministry of Reintegration at the 24/7 hotline: 15-48 or the hotline of the Commissioner for IDPs at (066) 813-62-39.
