Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk attended the event dedicated to launching the Council of Europe HELP course “Internal Displacement”. This project is implemented in cooperation with the National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service and the Higher School of Public Administration.

The “HELP (Human Rights Education for Legal Professionals) for Ukraine including during wartime”  project aims to improve the skills of current and future lawyers in Ukraine to ensure that they effectively apply European human rights standards.

The HELP platform currently offers 33 courses in Ukrainian. In addition to internal displacement, they cover anti-discrimination, human rights, cybercrime, family law, combating racism, xenophobia, homophobia and transphobia, and many other useful topics.

The Vice Prime Minister expressed her sincere gratitude to the initiators of the HELP course. They have ensured that officials are more aware of the protection of IDPs’ rights. In this way, they will be able to help IDPs reintegrate and adapt to new conditions.
