Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk emphasized this during the ceremonial handover of heavy construction equipment to representatives of regional military administrations and city military administrations in the Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, and Kharkiv regions. 

The keys for the new JCB 4CX Sitemaster backhoe loader and JCB JS 305 LC excavators were handed over as a component of the USAID Democratic Governance in Eastern Ukraine (DG East) International Technical Assistance Project.

New machinery is necessary for the areas at the frontline, given the situation with the maintenance and repair of infrastructure under constant attack from russia.

The Minister for Reintegration conveyed gratitude on behalf of the Ukrainian Government and herself to the global partners who assist Ukrainians, specifically Bridget Brink, the US Ambassador to Ukraine, and Michael Stievater, the Chief of Party for DG East.

“This event is not just about the transfer of equipment. It’s about the assurance that we’re not alone. Cooperation brings us closer to Victory. Whenever Ukrainians comprehend that they can rely on their partners’ support, it is easier for them to fight,” said the Vice Prime Minister.
