The Ministry of Reintegration is putting into action several government programs in support of IDPs.

In particular, the budget plan to compensate IDPs for utilities consumed during their free stay on state, municipal, and private property provides 338.7 million UAH.

The state budget allocated 94.7 million UAH to help those evacuated and living in the de-occupied settlements.

As a part of the “Shelter” project, nearly 150,000 household owners received 1.96 billion UAH in compensation for sheltering 2.8 million IDPs.

Furthermore, various schemes are carried out by alternative organizations.

Therefore, the Social Policy Ministry is implementing a program to safeguard individuals facing hardships. A total of 74.2 billion UAH has been earmarked for this purpose.

The Ministry of Veterans Affairs is bringing in a plan to provide subsidies for housing compensation for IDPs from the Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts who are military veterans and the third group of people disabled as a result of the war. Local budgets have been given 3.2 billion UAH under this system.

The Ministry of Economy is carrying out the eRobota state program. This year, it offers 2.6 billion UAH in grants for business start-ups and their development.

Furthermore, a program is being implemented to compensate employers for the labor costs of employed IDPs. The funding for this initiative amounts to 308.2 million UAH.
