The International Organization for Migration has announced a grant program for small and micro businesses as part of the “Building Cohesive Communities in Dnipro Oblast” project. The IOM website reports.

Its goal is to support our economy by restoring jobs and production. The project also aims to unite local authorities, businesses, internally displaced persons, veterans, etc.

Companies operating in the Kryvyi Rih, Apostolivska, and Zhovtovodska united territorial communities are invited to apply. They must also be registered in Ukraine for at least one year before the date of application and be owned by Ukrainians.

As part of the grant program, microbusinesses must create at least one new job, and small businesses must create three new jobs.

Organizers plan to award 5 to 10 grants in each of the identified communities. Each winner will receive up to $5,000.

Priority will be given to war-affected, damaged, destroyed, or displaced businesses.

Applications to participate in the program will be accepted through December 29, 2023. For more information on the terms and conditions of the program, please click here.
