Winners of the next stage of the ‘Grant for Your Own Business’ program will receive over half a billion hryvnias, enabling them to create almost 5,000 new jobs, according to the Government Portal.

The majority of grant recipients reside in Lviv, Kyiv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Vinnytsia regions, and the city of Kyiv.

The most popular areas of activity include trade, vehicle repair, hospitality, catering, and processing.

Since the program began, almost 13,000 winners have been identified. The state will provide financial support totaling 3 billion UAH.

Ukrainians can receive between 50,000 and 250,000 hryvnias through the ‘Grant for Your Own Business’ program. The program is open to both existing entrepreneurs and those without relevant experience.

To receive funds, you must create 1-2 jobs, depending on the grant amount. You can use the funds to buy or lease equipment, purchase raw materials, or rent a space.
