During a meeting on veterans’ policy, Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk emphasized the need to allocate funds for the development of rehabilitation centers this year.

They discussed the next steps in implementing the following projects:

• The branch of the ‘Halychyna’ Center for Comprehensive Rehabilitation for People with Disabilities has been completed.
• The Rivne Regional Hospital is constructing a treatment and rehabilitation center for war veterans and internally displaced persons. The building construction is ongoing.
• The fund is currently discussing financing for the completion of the rehabilitation centers.
• The Rivne Hospital is currently constructing a 4-story inpatient treatment building that includes an admission and diagnostic department.

“We need to quickly build a capable network of rehabilitation centers. The centers that already demonstrate high-quality indicators and have the necessary material and technical base should be taken as a basis. Most importantly, they have qualified staff. Strengthening such institutions will have a multiplier effect soon.” – Vice Prime Minister summarized.
