A center for providing psychosocial assistance to children who have been evacuated from dangerous areas has opened in Zhytomyr

The SviTy Center offers professional psychological advice to boys and girls aged 12 to 16. The Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration reported this.

BGV Charity Fund and Kids of Ukraine opened the Center.

The children will receive assistance in overcoming the psychological trauma caused by the war through educational and interactive exercises, discussions, business and role-playing games, and the use of art therapy and relaxation techniques.

The Center will assist not only internally displaced persons but also children whose parents are defending Ukraine. parents are defending Ukraine or have lost someone close to them due to the full-scale invasion of russia.

To participate in the program, parents must complete a questionnaire. The Center’s specialists will then explain the next steps to the family.

Currently, 16.5 thousand children who have evacuated from dangerous areas are living in the Zhytomyr region.
