The university’s Facebook page states that the initiative aims to uncover shared values and identity factors among Ukrainians and Crimean Tatars.

The Kyiv-Mohyla Analytical Platform developed the project as part of the preparatory work for the opening of Crimean Studies at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy.

The initiative aims to create an effective roadmap for interaction between the national and political visions of Crimean Tatars and Ukrainians. The map will also contribute to the development of the Crimean Tatar perception of their own identity as part of a broader Ukrainian civic identity.

The project involves conducting a thorough study, making recommendations based on the findings, and organizing events in various regions of Ukraine.

Additionally, we will create audiovisual content to share the study’s findings with the public.

Experts will participate in events to present and discuss the study results with the public and civil servants.
