It was discussed at a regular meeting of the Coordination Center for the Protection of Children’s Rights under Martial Law.

During the meeting, the participants discussed the importance of creating an educational environment in Ukrainian for children. This includes the opportunity to study their native language, literature, culture, and history. The focus was on Ukrainians currently residing in Switzerland.

The Coordination Center members believe that this will assist children in identifying themselves while away from home and developing their personalities.

Additionally, they discussed the possibility of increasing the number of Ukrainian-speaking teachers for these children and creating a Ukrainian Sunday school for first-grade students.

Letters are currently being prepared for the responsible authorities and services. These letters will facilitate the transfer of our children to cantons where all necessary conditions are provided.

I sincerely thank all those who initiated the discussion of this issue. The education of our children abroad in the Ukrainian language is very important,” the Vice-Premier emphasized.
