The residents of the Pokrovsky Center for Comprehensive Rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities ‘Myloserdia’ arrived at their new home. They were accompanied by the institution’s staff and other adults.
The Charitable Foundation and the Neresnytsia Village Council signed an agreement and memorandum to equip premises for the needs of lonely evacuees from the frontline areas. These individuals can live there until the end of martial law and for an additional year afterward.
A family of caregivers moved to Zakarpattia and were accommodated in comfortable conditions in a shelter near Khust. Children from the Myloserdia Center were also moved to Zakarpattia.
The Coordination Headquarters for Mandatory Evacuation of the Population under Martial Law, chaired by Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk, decided to relocate the facility to a safe location.
It is important to ensure that no children are in areas of intense shelling, especially those in need of special care. The Vice Prime Minister expressed gratitude to the staff who moved with the children and will continue to take care of them.
