An expanded meeting of the Presidium of the Congress was held on April 12 in Chernivtsi under the chairmanship of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
The event was attended by several high-level officials, including Head of the President’s Office Andriy Yermak, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, First Vice Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko, Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk, Vice Prime Minister Olha Stefanishyna, Vice Prime Minister Oleksandr Kubrakov, and others. The Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, Ruslan Stefanchuk, also joined the event online.
The participants discussed potential strategies to address security threats and ways to mitigate the impact of infrastructure destruction. They also examined the current status of energy facilities and methods to maintain the stability of the energy system in the face of persistent rocket attacks. Special focus was placed on the role of the security and defense sector in preventive measures.
The government considered implementing a new policy to support domestic production and develop an effective system of medical rehabilitation for military personnel.
In conclusion, the participants identified new opportunities and challenges for Ukrainian communities about Ukraine’s continued integration into the European Union.
