The Ministry of Reintegration team, led by Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk, conducted a working visit to an institution providing social services and shelter for mothers with children in difficult life situations.

The City of Goodness is not only a shelter and a place to live but also a comprehensive socialization program for women. Its activities are designed to enable women to become self-sufficient and provide for their children.

This institution is a social welfare boarding house offering round-the-clock care for:

– Women with children who are victims of domestic violence or homeless.
– Women who are at risk of losing their parental rights due to inadequate care conditions resulting from homelessness, poverty, or a lack of education.

– Women with children who have problems with documents and cannot find work or housing.

– Women with children from Ukraine and foreign nationals in Ukraine.

– Elderly single grandmothers who have no place to live or are abused.

Women, and children, of all faiths, can apply for help at the boarding house. The center is for people with disabilities.

The City of Goodness provides everything children need to live and be cared for. It currently houses children from among the internally displaced. Families living in the center are provided with items, hygiene products, and food. Accommodation is free.

The Center provides help with mental health, legal issues, medical care, and education. They also teach parenting skills and job training.
