Iryna Vereshchuk

Born in 1979 in Rava-Ruska, Lviv region.

Education:

From 1997 to 2002 – Military Institute at Lviv Polytechnic National University, specializing in international information.

From 2002 to 2006 – Faculty of Law at Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, specializing in jurisprudence.

From 2008 to 2010 – Lviv Regional Institute of Public Administration of the National Academy of Public Administration under the President of Ukraine, specializing in public administration.

Candidate of Sciences in Public Administration.

Work experience:

After graduating from the military institute, she served as an officer in the Armed Forces of Ukraine for 5 years.

From May 2007 to June 2008, she worked as a lawyer at the Rava-Ruska City Council.

From June to October 2010 – Deputy Head of Zhovkva District State Administration.

3 2010-2015 – Mayor of Rava-Ruska, Zhovkva district, Lviv region.

From 2016 to 2019 – President of the International Center for Baltic-Black Sea Studies and Consensus Practices.

From September 4 to November 15, 2019, he was a representative of the Government in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

Since 2019 – Member of the Verkhovna Rada of the IX convocation. Member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence, Chairman of the Subcommittee on State Security and Defense.

November 4, 2021 – was appointed Vice Prime Minister – Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine.
