We have started delivering fuel wood to the frontline regions. Today, a Ukrzaliznytsia train delivered the first two cars to Mykolaiv region. The wood is currently being shipped and will soon be delivered to the communities bordering the combat zone.

Local authorities will deliver the chopped wood directly to households. The priority for receiving firewood will be determined by the local community. It willbe given to vulnerable groups: large families, the elderly, and people with disabilities.

– Mykolaiv district: (068) 535-91-19, (051) 532-19-67 (working hours from 08:00 to 18:00);

– Bashtanka district: (098) 738-83-18 (from 08:00 to 20:00);

– Voznesensky district: (066) 779-46-18 (08:00-20:00).

The logistics of fuelwood shipments to other regions have now been established. Two more regions, namely Dnipropetrov and Zaporizhzhia, will receive firewood by Ukrzaliznytsia trains. The rest will be delivered by road in the near future.

We are reminding that the Government of Ukraine has allocated almost UAH 563 million to provide free fuelwood to the population of the frontline regions.
