The Deputy Prime Minister of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine Iryna Vereshchuk summed up the results of the evacuation this Friday and raised problematic issues of the mariupol humanitarian  corridor.

In total, almost 6.7 thousand citizens were evacuated during the day as of 10 p.m., the official stated.

The corridor from Mariupol and Berdyansk was used by 5,158 citizens: they took their own transport and evacuation buses to Zaporizhzhia.

Among them:

– 1 614 – from Mariupol.

– 3,544 – from the cities of the Zaporizhzhia region: Pology, Vasylivka, Berdyansk, Tokmak, Melitopol Energodar, Orikhiv, Gulyaypole.

At the same time, in Melitopol, the occupiers have been holding 8 evacuated buses for evacuation for 24 hours.

“We are negotiating to return these buses and provide an opportunity – in accordance with the agreements – to evacuate local residents” – said Irina Vereshchuk.

A convoy of buses, which was sent from Zaporizhzhia to Berdyansk in the morning, continue on its way.

“We are doing everything possible to ensure that these buses reach their destination and evacuate the locals tomorrow morning” – the Deputy Prime Minister pointed.

From the cities: Lysychansk, Severodonetsk, Rubizhne, Kreminna and the village of Girske, Luhansk region – today 1,507 people were evacuated.

The official raised the issue of the current situation in Melitopol, Energodar and other cities connected with the humanitarian corridor to Mariupol.

“Unfortunately, there is a government, that is temporarily out of Ukraine’s control (if we can call it like that). Mrs. Halyna Danilchenko – “Gauleiter” of Melitopol; the disrespectful Mr. Andriy Shevchyk is a representative of the Opposite platform for life, who is said to also cooperate with the occupiers (who is surprised?). And also – other henchmen who allow themselves to cooperate with the occupying power (let’s call it like that), to decide who should go where and who should not, where to pick up humanitarian aid, when to confiscate buses on the road where the humanitarian corridor operates, and when – no… I appeal to them – so that they listen to me carefully! – The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized. – This is a humanitarian corridor in accordance with the international humanitarian law. Everything that is done during the operation and regime of such a corridor is considered a huge violation of international humanitarian law. All your actions are recorded! You can be clearly seen from Kyiv. We know everything you do, all your arrangements and everything you try to hide. You can’t do that! I promise you this personally. For everything that is happening on the territory, that, unfortunately, so far (I emphasize – so far!) is not under the control of the Ukrainian government, you will receive punishment – in full scale. And this is not only 15 years that await you in accordance with the Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. You will sit on the dock in the international court – in a pair with the occupiers, who are now destroying our people, who killed dozens of women and children with a missile at the Kramatorsk railway station” -Iryna Vereshchuk warned.

“We can say one thing today: let’s unite! – she said to Ukrainians. – Let’s work together! Let’s help our army, volunteers, each other! And all those “Gauleiters”, traitors who now dream of staying in power after the full occupation, will get what they deserve. Believe me, all those who are suffering today, don’t have possibilities to leave, standing for several days between Mariupol and Zaporizhzhia in Tokmak, in Berdyansk – I hear you. In Mangush – I hear you. Every day I hear and see! Believe me, they will pay in full” – Deputy Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk assured.

She said that tomorrow the work will continue on the humanitarian corridor for Mariupol and the blocked cities of Zaporizhzhia region, as well as for the evacuation of people from the cities of Luhansk region.
