The Government has amended the Procedure for the Use of the Fund for the Elimination of the Consequences of Armed Aggression, the Government Portal reports.
The Fund for Elimination of the Consequences of Armed Aggression was established in the fall of 2022. The Fund will provide priority measures for the restoration of critical infrastructure damaged as a result of hostilities.
The procedure for allocating funds from the Fund to overcome the consequences of emergencies and finance other important projects is simplified.
Communities can now submit regional recovery projects directly to the ministries through the DREAM system, a state digital ecosystem for accountable recovery management. This change allows for more efficient and direct communication between communities and the government.
Additionally, the funding from the Transition Projects Fund, which was approved by the Government in 2023, will continue in the new budget year, provided that the earmarked funds are used promptly.
These changes will speed up the development of important social projects. Specifically, completing the construction of the treatment and rehabilitation center at Rivne Regional Hospital will continue.
As a reminder, the topic of building rehabilitation centers for military and veterans is regularly raised at meetings on veterans’ policy chaired by Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk.
